The ESPN contract only covers our home games. We could join one of the power leagues and play a limited number of home games until the contract expires. That's the chew your arm off to get away strategy.

No. Dabo is very attuned to the importance of home games to the local economy. That won't happen if he is our coach

I just throw that out there because if you felt like you HAD to go for the sake of the program 20 years down the road there is that option.

He also said he would quit if players got paid.***

We could lease DV to a 3rd party, say a non-profit organization like IPTAY, who would in turn rent what would technically be neutral site games to Clemson to play in DV.

To make it truly neutral, we may have to alternate between the north sideline and the south, and DV season ticket holders would have to buy their tickets from the third party instead of through the athletic ticket office.

Then IPTAY could rent out DV to other teams, too

Maybe Greenville should get started building a 90,000 seat stadium to be ready by 2026 so the games can be played on a neutral field.
