Clemson
Ohio state
Oklahoma

Are worthy of competing for a NC. All the other schools are clearly not ready to compete. Should we just skip all the hoopla and start the CFP now?

UGA, Michigan State, and Washington can't say that. But honestly, those three teams didn't really deserve to be there in the first place, and the pundits have said as much.

teams in the hunt. Whereas before if a player had to play for a team in the CFP hunt they would be relegated to choose one of the four teams you list. But now its possible to play for a team that isnt' one of those and still be able to get to the CFP stage. so as Clemson or Bama or OSU or Oklahoma fans we didnt' really want to see a change b/c it doesn't really help us but for the overall landscape of CF i think it helps them compete for the bigger name recruits.

Every year one of those four teams does not make the CFP (except for 2014, when Clemson didn't make it).
