I would have kicked the FG too. With 42 seconds left, they weren’t going to win either way. And at 4th and goal from the 23 and their putrid offense, they probably had around a 5% to score by going for it vs. roughly a 70% chance of kicking a 40 yard FG.

No win situation for Napier but if I’m a Gator fan I’d be glad he kept the not-shut-out streak going versus going for it just to avoid the criticism.
