was to feed inflation.
The nice 25% tariff on so much of what is bought from China is not talked about a lot any more, but it's helping to drive inflation right now. We didn't see the true impact in 202 due to the rapid decline in demand when COVID hit. But we see it now for sure.
I'm competing with companies located in Mexico and Canada...they pay no duty on Chinese products (or steel from other countries) and then they bring their products into the US with no duty (that's a Trump deal too).
