He is the most deceptively fast QB/RB in the nation. He breaks ankles on the regular.

Just like last year..
If Clemson's Defense can put him on his butt and have a sub par game the Lamar Jackson hype will be over.

He's the real thing athletically but he doesn't throw a good deep ball and is mostly a one-read QB. Occasionally he'll make two reads. He's best at throwing to shallow cross routes and is effective outside the pocket. And of course he's deadly as a runner in space. He absolutely falls apart under pressure (just as he did in the first half in Death Valley last year before all the second half turnovers) and the Clemson defense will apply plenty of that from all angles Saturday night. Also, LJ is the epitome of a one man show with nothing much around him. CU by 10+

You're right. Wasn't it as a DB though?

That is key. He lost it after Boulware put him in a choke-hold at the bottom of the pile last year. I thought he was going to cry.

Disagree, he has grown up physically and matured since last

Year. He is spending more time in pocket with more patience, and he is better thrower while just as good as a runner. Saying all that, I think the Tigers can contain him enough for us to win 38 - 28! And be outplayed by Kelly!

A great college QB. Likely not a pro QB. But BV will spend all week studying tendencies which don't exist. LJ will play Clemson's vaunted D like a sandlot game running all over the field like Mike Vick. And as great as our Tiger Defense is, the team will be hard-pressed to stop him.
This week will be a test.

We stop him by keeping him off the field.

Long, mistake-free sustained scoring drives are the key.
Lamar will get his yards and points if we let him have enough time of possession.
Keep the ball out of his hands and limit his effectiveness.
