“Par” represents the number of strokes an expert golfer is expected to make on the hole or course. Every golf hole has a “par” assigned to it. Most holes are either a par 3, par 4, or par 5. On a par 4, an expert golfer is expected to take 4 strokes to get his ball in the hole.

Jacob spent a lot of cash this weekend after being -8. Played the weekend in -4. The 4 par 5's were relatively easy and short. Jacob only shot 25%. Being -5 clean card for today after 14, he had 2 par 5's, par that a lot were making birdies, a par 4, and the closing par 5. You're thinking -6 minimum but hopefully -7. He parred both 5's, and 3 putted the two holes in between for his lone bogeys.
-6 would have given him a top 10. Earning much needed FedEx points. He's so close to putting together 4 rounds.
