So it isn’t DJ… it’s scheme and speed.

This is about a lack of elite speed and a system that doesn’t get people open downfield. Tennessee’s offense is a system we should run.

Bold safeties sat at 12 yds all night. No fear of us running by them. Ours sat at 20+

I am a bitter and angry man.

But the result would have been truly ugly if we had to punt 9 times.

Goodwin is bad is what I learned. Offense does need speed but in no universe does DJ manufacture 400+ yards of offense. He was a huge problem for Streeter to contend with, however I wish they would've leaned on the run game a bit more to control things a bit more.

What I learned is we have an absolute boatload of fair weather fans that thought one guy was going to change the entire team. Clemson has issues in both trenches, at wideout and corner. Cade was NOT going to fix all of it regardless of what some thought. There's talent there but I don't know if its effort, lack of development or just plain bad positional coaching. I hope they get it figured out by next September that's for sure.

it would have been way worse with sloth footed dju

at the helm. LMAO. OL is the biggest issue of this team with WRs a close second.

Show me the people who said Cade was the second coming and would fix everything on the team. Link to their posts.

Just about everyone who has been critical of this team have placed the blame on multiple things. Playcalling, WR play, blocking, secondary, and special teams (outside of FG kicking). And of course DJ's poor decision making and execution.

There are a LOT of things wrong with this team and DJ was one of them. QB play was greatly improved in the two games that Cade got the majority of playing time. The things that brought us down tonight were primarily a weak OL and not running the ball.

Which is exactly what I've been saying for months. It wasn't all on DJ, it was a little bit of everything. I never said DJ was faultless. You assumed it because I said it wasn't just one guy. I've said numerous times that cades going to be good if not great, but that doesn't fit your narrow view so you disregard it and read into it what you want. And no, I'm not digging up all the posts from people blaming DJ and saying Clemson would be a one loss playoff team at worst if Cade was the QB all year. I don't have all night to dig up necroposts. Go ahead and spout off how I have no evidence, you know what I said is true. I haven't knocked Cade a single time, all I said was the young man isn't Superman and he wasn't going to fix everything.
