Remember travis etienne

Best back in acc history. Never read about him boasting about giving more effort than his teammates. Never saw him yell at his coaches or teammates. I have so much respect for the way he handles himself. That he can be blessed with such amazing talent and carry himself with such humility is truly awesome. Reminds me of Hank Aaron. Two guys I wish I could be more like. ETN will always be one of my favorite Tigers ever. Miss that dude.

had 2x the YPC of Shipley and was on the sideline while Ship got two tries to punch it in and failed, and then afterwards didn’t get in CJ’s grille about not getting his shot?

There should be a BIG athletic player on this team who can score inside the three yard line.

If he happens to be a DT, so what. Give him the ball.

Remember the Fridge carrying the ball?

Yep he is a personal favorite. Both him and Trevor Lawrence seem to be very down to earth and modest guys in spite of their immense talent

The coaches know that Shipley AND Mafha are the key players on this offense. That’s why they went to a three man backfield.
Both will be needed at their best Saturday.
I have no idea why the OL is always a weak point.
There seems to never be a big time offensive lineman on the Tiger team.
I remember several years ago the Tigers signed the top high school OT who committed on tv and he never became a good player.wasn’t even drafted by the NFL as I recall. Surely there is an OL coach who could help this team.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yep. With 6 playoff appearances and 2 championships

Sep 17, 2023, 2:31 PM

in the last 8 years, we don't have a single O-Lineman starting in the NFL. A glaring weak spot for a long time.

Be long before Jordan McFadden says hello. Tyler Shatley also a starter(currently hurt) and a little outside the time period suggested but Dabo era guy none the less

And Jackson Carman

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

yeah - he's on the team but maybe trending in the wrong

Sep 26, 2020, 7:21 PM

direction - was referring to the starters(other than McFadden who I think will be there in the next year or so.- he had a really good preseason/camp with the Chargers)

^^^^^^^^THIS! THIS^^^^THIS^^^^

I know that blocking schemes have changed in the last 15 or so years, but at some point they have to get in a 3-point stance and be able to move the D-Line backwards! the passive approach gets you no where!

Mitch Hyatt was top 5 OT out of high school. Lots of college awards . Undrafted but hung on to the Cowboys for a few years through the 2021 season. Might be who you are thinking of possibly.

I remember in all his interviews he always deflected away from his numbers. Always commented on the line opening up holes and the wide receivers blocking down field.

After he and Feaster had a big game a reporter suggested they should be called TNT. He immediately said that would be cool but you can't forget about CJ and Adam getting hard yards and giving them a break to keep their legs fresh.

Always humble in every interview.

My favorite Tiger ever.

Being decent seems to come really easily for some people. Always amazes me when I encounter it. That’s Etienne. No ego. I’m just so in awe of it.
