Our opponents know that Hall and Girard can score points from anywhere on the court so they focus on stopping them. It hasn’t worked! The coach has the others on the court ready to up their game when the opponent focuses on the”stars”…. And it has worked! Getting Hall into foul trouble was once a serious problem, but no more. I can’t see a glaring weakness on this team and the coach is using his entire team to play at a high level. Baylor is a very good team with few weaknesses but in last nights game they NEVER had the lead. When the going got tough in the closing minutes the Tigers responded as they have been coached to do. Clemson likely isn’t the number one team in college basketball and eventually will be outplayed at some point…. But don’t tell the Tigers! I can see our guys finishing in the top ten this year.
The Elite Eight is rarefied air and that is where my team is headed. Go Tigers.
