Regarding Noble Johnson

for those of you with your fingers on the pulse of the program, is this young man someone who is ready to contribute from day 1? He possesses size you can't coach and I have heard good things. I guess what I am saying is that I hope someone in the know will say yes he is going to make an impact. Early.

He sure did look physically ready in the spring game. If he continues to grow as a WR and develop his route running and so forth, I think he can be a contributor as a freshman, how much is yet to be decided. Go Tigers!

I am certainly hoping he turns out to be another great WR for us. However, Dabo seemed rather muted in his comments about Johnson considering the early praise he heaped on other freshman in the past.

Of course it’s pretty tough when most of your peers are still in high school. I’m hoping Johnson comes through in a big way this fall.

I sat next to his family at the Spring game and I got the impression they are some great people and he’s had some really good influences coming up. From talking to them I think he’s probably got the right work ethic, attitude, and desire to go with his size and talent. Wouldn’t be surprised to see good things quickly from him.

He's been working with a WR trainer...

and he looks really good running routes, coming in and out of his breaks, and catching the ball away from his body. I think he has an opportunity to contribute early.
