That ref should never be allowed to ref even a pop warmer game ever again. Terrible.

Juju broke his ankles on the cut and he grabbed his jersey. You can't do that. It's unfortunate a penalty had such a big impact there at the end of the game. But that DB is to blame, not the ref.

Sorry, but watch it in real time and there was no grab. His hand literally swipes across. No way ref calls holding based on what he saw, had already made his mind up to throw a flag if anything even close to a penalty occurred. Terrible call.

I agree. Did not care who won but this was too big of a game for it to be decided by that call. However, the Chiefs would have still kicked a field goal but the Eagles would have had more time on the clock.

Agree with you...he grabbed him on the turn and kept him from moving away...1st replays left out the stop and go grab...there are way too few PI`s called in the NFL & certainly in the SEC...you have to get personal with them in the SEC to get a call!

The db admitted after the game that he held. Not sure why there is complaining about the call.

It's not about the call. IT was the timing of it. It's the superbowl let it play out

By the technical by the book definition, yes it was holding. However, very slight and that happens all the time and doesn't get called. Split second decision, but I think they should have let that one go.

It was holding. If you don't want the referees deciding the game, don't leave it in their hands.

It was a hold. Philadelphia player admitted as such in post game interview.

It was holding. Even the defensive player it was called on said he was holding.

Men at 25 play football. Men at 40 play tennis. Men at 60 play golf. Have you noticed as men get older their balls get smaller.

They Missed Calls Bad on Both Sides

That called back scoop score for KC was criminal

Shouldn’t have even gotten to that point

Feb 13, 2023, 4:02 PM

What the refs should have done was to call a phantom block in the back on the punt return. That would have ensured an interesting finish to the show with KC being forced to move the ball the length of the field instead of having that unfair short field. Because after all, the most important thing at the end of the game is an interesting finish, right? Rules be hanged. 🙄
