1) It might be that a lot of these players are looking for more playing time.
2) It might be that a lot of these players are looking for more MIL $.
3) It might be that this is another method change in Dabo's action plan to rebuild the team with better players and perhaps he's had a heart-to-heart with some of these players and explained that they wouldn't be seeing the field for a long time.
If the answer is mostly #3, you can expect that Dabo's next change will be to join the portal party.

Perhaps, but #2 might be a key one, especially if the player comes from a meager economic background.

Cola66 , I like your posts. Not sure why you don't like mine, but that's cool.
I would suggest there's a 4th. Possible bad fit in locker room, or in the case of freshman, just didn't like Clemson. Homesick etc. Girlfriend. But I like your list.

That ties into #2. In many cases, these players start having babies in college and they have mouths to feed. It used to weigh into the turn pro or not consideration by players but with the deleterious NIL, it may be bigger than some think.

Huh? I do like your posts - you're one of the more knowledgeable and serious posters on T-Net. I know that you do hit the TU button for a lot of my posts, so maybe you think I should return the favor more often - and maybe I should..... truth is, I don't hit the TU button very often for anything.

I believe most all the transfers are looking to be a starter or for more playing time. I don’t believe anyone is leaving because they don’t like Dabo their coach or Clemson. One other reason is the offer of money to the player to transfer.

Reason one and two make sense but the third doesn't. If there were really good players in the Portal don't you think Colorado would have won more games. For every player that gave up a secure staring position to go in the Portal, there are probably 10-15 that would be no help.

well, maybe the really good ones didn't want to go to Colorado..... or if the good ones did (I don't really know), maybe they weren't well coached.
