all you need to do. Wait a few minutes and then casually ask - Hey, what's the 3 best books you read this year? And then just let that blank look and uneasy silence hang over the room. You don't need to say anything else. Just act normal, like you'd asked about their favorite movie or beer.

country as an only child in the 60s. My mom got me the World Book Encyclopedia set when I was about 12 years old, and I read em all front to back. To this day I still read multiple newspapers and websites. And I churn through books like chit through a goose. I love to read. If you have something you find interesting, throw it at me. I will read it, I promise you.

Recommend "A Woman I Know" by Mary Haverstick. Just finished it recently. It's about an accomplished female pitot who became extremely obsessed to be the first woman into space. Trained with 12 other women in the Mercury astronaut program and was its best performer. Was rejected by Congress including John Glenn and program head for active participation. Became a CIA operative and worked for Castro as a double agent and later involved in other missions. Was an expert marksman. CIA developed a weapon for its assassination bureau named the Magic Button. Admitted being in Dallas November '63 with access to a small plane which aroused suspicions by several persons when it sat for a few hours idling on the tarmac at what is now Dallas Executive Airport. This was one of the last destinations on the bus pass Oswald had in his possession when captured. The plane took off just before airspace was closed by the departure of Air Force One and flew to Mexico.

I would also add that they research their news sources and look into multiple ones. Some folks just educate themselves with one sided biased opinions and rarely know what is really going on. I’m not advocating for any one news source but I would not advise to believe everything you read unless you dig a little deeper. Seems our current news has been bought and paid for. It was bad years ago but it seems to be getting worse. Journalism is a lost art these days.
