Yea right, he don't have a clue of the meaning of the word. Committed to all these guys that has been in the portal 2 and 3 times, it means to transfer if a school isn't favoring me me me over the ones that have been there the longest!!!

Hope he finds what he's looking for. From Miami to UMass. Can't get any different in any way than those two!
I wonder how many of these kids wish they'd stuck with their original team and never transferred.... What a mess this has become.

The saddest part of it all is that they're not using the free college education that could help to make their life comfortable when FB or sports don't work out for them, and the education was there for the taking and absolutely free!!!

I believe many, maybe even most, players are not better off after entering the portal or even transferring . I bet there are many regrets.

You just wonder what happens when the recruiting experts miss so bad on some players. Is it the lack of effort by the player or what?
Some 5 stars end up being worse than unrated players in some cases. I know injuries happen and can derail a player. Wishing him well at his new school.

Recruiting and draft experts? The reality is many players will never pan out. If 50-60% become key players I would consider a class or draft pretty good. I laugh at ESPN's Mel Kuiper. The experts are projecting performance which is inherently limited. Ladson to Umass is a college example. If healthy, Ladson could be good with his size and speed against weaker competition. NFL success is not as likely.

Some are victims of their own attitudes. Face it, though, some just really don’t like the atmosphere they get into. They expect something that is entirely different than reality. Also, some schools get a different athlete than they thought they were getting, as well. Hard to go from being “the guy” in high school to being just another body at the next level.

Certainly wish him luck and success but can't ignore such a curious descent. Really looks like his best (or probably easiest) football was played in highschool since he was generally the most talented player on the field. Injuries aside, seems like he's not willing to put in the work needed to remain dominant, or even viable, when the level of competition ramps up. UMass makes sense from that perspective.
