They don't know the meaning of open. Typical route is run to within 1 yard of nearest defender, turn around and look for the ball 'cause he thinks he's open.

Another favorite: Run towards nearest defender attempt a juke then lackadaisically jog in opposite direction.

Another one: When QB is rolling right or left while under duress, mirror his speed and direction instead of bolting for nearest open space.

Do these WR's ever receive fundamental instructions or constructive criticism?

What a shame.

Most of that has to be intuit. It can't be coached to most players. Either you have the WR intuition or you don't. It has to be second nature.

if we need to go 9 yards for a first down then they will run a 4-yard route and fall forward for a 5 yard gain. Why not run out 10 yards and get tackled for the first down????? This happens every game it seems.

We got Tyler Grisham as WR coach and CJ as RB coach and Thomas Austin as O Line coach. None of them have proven anything anywhere as a coach. Our offensive problems are because Dabo is hiring friends over proven coaches.

That miss by collins in the 3rd was the final nail.
It pretty much cost the game. We would have been set up nice with the easy catch the hit him in face mask .
