There are reasons I guess but they are all politically incorrect so that is that about about that. Let's just say it will be at least ACC championship time and maybe World Series time before I watch a game.

It’s the way it’s played across the country just to throw in a wrinkle of fun. No big deal.
I’d say if you can’t support them now, they probably are good if you stay away then.

Never said I didnt support them, just curious about all the hijinks during the game. Apparently it is the modern softball culture which is fine with me. As Dabo says, the fun is in the winning.

Its one of 2 reasons why its so popular on tv. The ratings for softball beat baseball almost every day. The almost guaranteed 2hr game combined with fun antics and enthusiasm at a higher pace, that is why you can find softball easier than slow-paced 3.5hr minimum slow@$$ baseball games.

The screeching! OMG. I really want to go to some SB games and root for the team, but the screeching just drills into my brain. On TV I can at least turn the volume down all the way and just watch the game.
If I go to a game, I'll have to bring headphones.
