He had been promoted to passing game coordinator prior to the 2022 season.Keenan Bailey, who has been on staff for the past seven years, most recently as a special assistant, was named tight ends coach Friday, a position that Wilson had previously handled. Offensive line coach Justin Frye is getting the responsibility of run game coordinator.Ohio State will have some important spots to fill on the field, primarily at quarterback. Two-year starter C.J. Stroud is expected to enter the NFL draft, although he hasn’t yet made a public announcement. Backups Kyle McCord and Devin Brown are expected to compete for the starting quarterback job.Both starting offensive tackles, All-American Paris Johnson Jr. and Dawand Jones, and center Luke Wypler also will leave to enter the draft.Guard Matt Jones announced that he will return for a sixth year, giving the Buckeyes two returning starters on the offensive line with Donovan Jackson also coming back. Yeah, he's really good.
But he's a terrible person that's always out to run-up the score on his opponents -- no matter how small their opponent's college is.

They recruit top 3 classes every year and use the portal. They will be in the playoffs year in and year out.

Hartline has proved to be a monster at WR coaching and recruiting since he became the WR coach. What happens at that position if he's now the OC and someone else moves into that position.

How is this a big mistake? He's literally pulling in ALL the nations best WR's the past 4 years. It's not even a comparison, its every single guy, and walking the dog on Tyler Grisham with the Marvin Harrison Jr's, Carnell Tate's, etc.
He is an elite recruiter.
College football is not about the X's & O's its about the Jimmy's & Joe's. Grisham should've been let go before Street, imo. At least Street could recruit at an elite level.

If you think college football is just X’s and O’s, and not coaching, feel feee to take a look at Mack Browns tenure at Texas. If he was a marginal coach, he’d have had a dynasty like Saban.

Pretty sure there was sarcasm there. Many here on Tnet cried about Dabo hiring/promoting from within, saying it would never be a good thing. We know now with Streeter maybe they were right. So O310 St promoting from within must be a bad idea, right?

Brian Hartline is probably the best WR recruiter ever and Ryan Day has the good sense to give him this position in order to keep him on staff.
Day will continue running the offense but Hartline now has a title more befitting his extremely high profile in college football. Within 2-3 years, I expect a desperate Big 5 school to offer Hartline huge money for a head coaching job. Then we'll find out if he's just a recruiter or can actually coach.

Good, let them make all of the mistakes they want. Maybe they can bring Urban back to replace Hartline as receivers coach. There are still quite a few 24 year former co-eds in Columbus that still need groping...
