This is my first post. Been reading for a while and T-Net seems to be the best source of info for Clemson Football. I enjoy the website, minus a few things:
1) Design is old - why do I have to click on every comment to read the whole thing on my laptop. I end up switching to mobile version on every thread I click. If you don't you end up clicking on every comment individually. Am I doing something wrong here??
2) Why does everyone post all types of #### in the football forum. So many basketball posts. Do we need volunteer admins to move threads? ##### annoying.
Based on the typical responses I see to posts I'll assume someone will now call me a Coot? I'm not, but as our main website this forum is kind of embarrassing. A thread came up on CFB/Reddit that made me think to post this. It can't cost more than a few hundred bucks to redesign this forum. I'm sure some nerds in Riggs would do it overnight for a meat lovers pizza. I'll buy.

As someone who can relate with some of your frustration on the platform of the forum, while you have a valid point- Your introduction of being embarrassed to be associated with the forum on your first post, killed any respect you might get to start. Someone comes to your house, in your neighborhood, and says " hey, nice to meet you, you need to clean up this and that" - what would you say? You had a good idea, but you can't make rookie mistakes like that in your introductions on a board that has members that are alumni from decades ago, as well as many longtime passionate Clemson Football fans.
A new intro may do you a lot of good. Good luck.

I disagree. It's more like walking past a public park or community center and saying "It's time to remodel this." Just because you hang out there doesn't make it your house. If the owners of the site are offended that's one thing; but owners typically understand the concept of something running it's course. I'm sure they have thought about it already.

You disagree? Not with the point I was making you weren't. I get your point...
Being new to Tiger net is like being new to any forum that has been established for years. Their are people on here that are Ex-players, Staff at Cu, former Staff, Military, Alumni, Upstate SC fan for decades, etc. Your pose is about " walking by something in public and making an observation and it needing to be cleaned up" which implies, that you have no real need to be here until it is.
That's my point. You don't walk into someone's house ( Tigernet ) and tell them that they need to " clean it all up" before you'll be back- especially as a new poster. You learn from people that have a lot of experience with this program, these players, this school and it's value as an institution. You may be a student, I don't know. But, it's just dis-respectful to come into a forum, tell em " what they need to do" and then stand behind a poor introduction with no vested interest in what's going on with the program, the players, the coaches, etc.. before making your assessments of the quality of the forum. If you do have interests in those things, then you should post about those first, that's why you are getting such a negative response. It's just out of respect.

So - it's not YOUR fault for not being resourceful enough to figure something out? So that makes it bad or embarrassing? Really?
T-netters are usually pretty resourceful. I'm old and complain about everything, but I don't seem to complain about t-net. That should tell you something.

Its 2017, should you really have to create an account and dig through settings to read forum replies?
Look at it this way, Dabo didn't say "We got these old ### locker rooms, we're good." He said something like "Best is the Standard." Then he fought to get world class facilities built. This forum has the community, it just needs to reflect the Clemson standard. That's not an insult. I appreciate a free website dedicated to Clemson sports, but the layout could use an upgrade. What's wrong with that?

Go to Board settings and set "Forum View Mode" to "topics only", then set "Topic Page View" to "Threaded". Once you do that, you can click on a topic and see the entire thread.
