New feeling towards last night’s game . . .

This was not the first time, nor will it be the last, that we’ve witnessed our Tigers squander a lead late in the game . . . But . . . last night was the first time I didn’t get a “sinking” feeling deep in my gut that the outcome was in jeopardy.

It was nice to be relaxed and have full confidence that our players and coaches would make the plays and adjustments needed to win the game. (I especially appreciated Coach B’s switch to a zone defense (twice) in the closing minutes.) That was a different sensation for me to enjoy while watching Clemson Basketball!!!

Veteran team never panicked as we have in the past. Even when score got closer we were in total control throughout the game. Cool, calm, and collected to finish it off.

Gotta admit I started to get a little of that feeling when they cut it to 5 points. Still hopeful but concerned. I think Tyson hit a 3 to go back to 8 and I felt better.

Glad we won. Give them credit for fighting back but we did some turnover and questionable shot selection things that made it easier for them. We need to learn from that and tend to business using what built the lead.

but they WILL sneak up and beat someone unexpectedly before Season’s End . . . grateful it wasn’t us . . . we can’t stand another Quad 4 Loss!!!
