That could do this. Or for that matter, a QB who could throw it like this.

I agree and imo Grisham doesn’t know how to coach up boundary WRs or evaluate them one of the 2. I personally don’t think he can coach them up, he can slot guys like Williams and Brown but no outside WRs

What do you mean? How are you supposed to coach a vertical leap? That's what Williams did. He outjumped the defense. We don't have anyone on the team with that kind of vertical leap. No way to coach that.

I think Beaux Collins could be alot better with more looks

Sep 25, 2023, 2:35 PM

I think he just needs more confidence. More jump balls to work on his boxing out skills. He's got the size. He should be able to go up and get against any DB thats guarding him. But maybe he doesn't know that he can until he does it a handful of times. Idk. Worth a try. We gotta have somebody in this WR room take control of the leader role. A freshman right now is the only one that looks like he has any competence. I'm glad Brown is here b/c its ghost town for the rest of them.

Maybe a guy like Collins can wake up and play bigger.

I'm sure he could improve some, but no amount of practice will make him as good as Mike Williams.

We've got two gamechanging level playmakers on the way.
They will see immediate playing time possibly earning
Starting positions. Help is on the way

Along with Randall , Brown and Stellato and one or two
Others we will look completely different next year. It
Could very well be a strength of the team.

I know that's not much comfort now but it is something to
Look forward to.

We've been saying that for 3 or 4 years now though

We've brought in some big time WR recruits but none of them have panned out. Ladson, Ngata, EJ...

I hope it's different this time.

Yes we have but the film on these guys is reminiscent of Tee and Justin. Let's remember, when Mike Wiliams committed we were all butt hurt over Mike McIntosh decommitting and going to Gators, so you never know for sure.

I'll settle for some wrs that can block

Sep 25, 2023, 3:11 PM

Until we can block on the perimeter we are going to get 2 high safties and a jammed box

Our running game is good but could be elite if we could just freaking block out there
