who is on video physically attacking a woman on the ground only received a 1 game suspension???? Is that true and if so is there a link to the story anywhere ?

I will restrain my wording as best I can, but for the life of me why is he not sitting in jail awaiting his sentencing/court appearance and having his scholarship withdrawn ??? Miss State should be ashamed and actually NCAA should come in and terminate the scholarship here. If that happened here at Clemson my hopes and thoughts is that Dabo and staff would do the right thing and make sure that player never stepped in the field at Clemson!! The SEC is all about football and continue to break every rule when it comes to recruiting. The NCAA is a sham and basically guilty of being ignorant of obvious facts in many cases, including the handling of UNC case.

Mississippi State should suspend this player for at least the year! Mistakes happen and bad choices are made, but physical assault of another person, make or female, is crossing a line that warrants harsh punishment. Removing scolarship offer is right thing to do IMHO. Second chances are deserved with lesser violations but not assault.

Correct. Had he been a non-starter or in another conference, he would be in jail. That is the footprint of all things SEC.

could end up being counter-productive to the team and school.

Want to beat a woman at Miss St.,... well just know that you may have to miss a game against South Alabama. That'll dissuade any punk.
