in last nights game vs Iowa. already thought they were trash as i commented in about 3 different threads, wasn't even aware of this until now.

there were a few on here defending Kim Mulkey thought she was being "targeted" by the media for her covid views etc........i get it i never supported all that garbage.....but without getting into that she is just trash which is why LSU hired her, always had problems with her players with her family, even this year never got along with angel reese. only got along last year for winning it, now im sure the real story will come out, and yes im aware angel is no angel lol.

When the south carolina women beat them in greenville in the SEC tournament and there was a scrum at the end of the game, Kim Mulkeys comment was " i wish she ( carolinas big player who pushed one of LSU down) would have done that too angel".....real mature, and for the record angel would have been body slammed by that big 6-7 amazon woman on carolina also btw.

Anyway LSU absolutely embarrassed themselves in every way possible.

it's a very odd situation, isn't it?

I find it to be a very strange dynamic because Mulkey seems to be a brash conservative lady with a VERY questionable track record when it comes to race, gender, and political issues. She's a very polarizing figure who is no stranger to controversy, is disliked by many people, and seems to be a very authoritative figure. Her players, on the other hand, seem to be extremely progressive and left-leaning in their sociopolitical stances. I found it fascinating when the liberal columnists attacked Mulkey for her toxic background and then Hailey Van Lith flipped the situation by calling the columnists racist, accusing them of making negative characterizations of her black teammates. The LA Times columnist issued an apology and parts of his piece were redacted. It's just a very strange situation because it seems like Mulkey and most of her players would be completely at odds with each other on issues like this. But yet they seemed to make a very passionate effort to stay united and defend each other throughout all the controversy this season for LSU (at least it appeared that way). But maybe the ###### in the armor are showing now that the season is over in a loss and it's all about to come unraveled and get ugly. It certainly wouldn't surprise me. It definitely doesn't surprise me that she and Reese weren't getting along, if that is in fact true.
