His injury put him behind Mafeh this year.
He's too good to spend another year at 3rd string.

Shipley and Mafeh are both better runners and better pass catchers.

I am old enough to remember when schools had 100 or more scholarships to offer. Plenty of big schools stockpiled players to keep them from playing for rivals. Then the NCAA lowered scholarships to 85 to help spread the talent around and help give kids playing time.

Now the TP is accomplishing a similar thing. There are plenty of things wrong with the TP but letting a great kid like Pace find his deserved playing time is not one of them. Best of luck to a very talented back.
