coots, that ACC championship banner is a great reminder of your unbridaled passion for greatness on the gridiron. Why, that banner, ALONE, is evidence of your storied past, and the great strides you've made to entrench yourself at the top of the conference you so proudly claim as your own. Maybe in another 22 years you will somehow find that elusive trail that will take you to the mountaintop, until then........sec---sec----sec------sec!!

Well said, LesPaw79.
The only thing that worries me when the Gamecocks fall apart every year and their SEC season goals are lost, they pull all the stops and put all of their energy into the Clemson game.
They play with that "nothing to lose" attitude, wanting to beat us more than anything in this world. Some of the folks I work with are such fanatics, you'd think they played on the team. Funny thing is, most of them didn't even attend USC, much less go to college (or is that one in the same??)...
I really hope we dominate the chickens this year...

7-4 overall but 6- 0 in ACC play

They lost to every ranked opponend they faced that season including No. 7 Georgia, No. 3 Tennessee and No. 19 West Virginia. They also lost to an unranked FSU team.
Interestingly, in 1969 there were eight schools in the ACC but teams only played six league games. $CU did not play Virginia that year.
