Jimbo losing composure had more impact than the penalty

They had a two point lead with 11 min to go in the game. They had the ball. Without the unsportsmanlike call, they could have still move the ball downfield . His actions caused them to be backed up to 10 yard line. FSU and Jumbo can blame themselves.

he got up and converted a 3rd down. Thats the difference in our teams ability to win the close ones.

when he gets the invoices from NCAA and ACC for his behavior. He really should have been ejected. You could see the look the Field Judge was giving him when play continued. Of course, his tirade bought him a missed holding call (which would have resulted in a safety) and a couple of gratuitous pass interference penalties... and a missed face mask against DW4... so, he probably figures he came out pretty good on the deal.

I would love to see him get the penalty of having to sit upstairs next week. Banish him from the sidelines for one game, ACC.

I love to see a coach stand up for his players, but sticking your finger in the refs face and repeatedly yelling at him after they already threw a flag on you isn't the way to go.

Jimbo was the one that lost it during that span definitely BUT someone else on the sideline got the unsportsmanlike flag.

Watch the replay. Jimbo asks who it was on and ref points to someone at back of the bench area. You could say that Jimbo created the environment for it to happen though.

That was a huge period in the game.
