He was the GOAT. Many times I'd rather listen to a game called by him than watch it on TV when we couldn't get to the game in person.... So many fantastic memories as a kid in the 80s of The Tiger Tailgate Show with Russ and Jane and then listening to Jim call the game.

Listened to him a lot growing up in the 80’s.

I now tune into Don because I cannot hardly stand to listen to these current football broadcasters.
