Had the privilege to ride the elevator down from near the top floor of the marriott marquee with he and tommy bowden in 1999.

I asked him how it felt to come to the right side of SC. He said “ it’s awesome! Absolutely no comparison. Wish I’d come sooner.”

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

Head coach to position coach might be hard for some egos to swallow, but if his passion is coaching WRs and offering input to the O (passing game coordinator, perhaps) we'd love to see him return.

He's going to be back.... Its not a hard pill to swallow going back to a position coach after not being successful as a head coach.

It's exactly what his Dad did.

I talked to Brad Scott a few times about the troubles he had a the coots... and how he petitioned the SEC every year to break up playing the last three games of the season vs UF, UT, and Clemson. He said being a head coach is not for everyone and he finished his career at Clemson, moved into an Asst AD role, and did the same role at USF to help Jeff.

My tinfoil hat theory is he comes back as a position coach, takes over OC when Riley moves on to a head coaching position and takes over for Dabo after he retires.

I can see Dabo moving into an AD role at Clemson like Osborne did in Nebraska.

It is going to work out very well for us Clemson fans.
