This team on the field right now isn't good. We will get annihilated at home by FSU. The old Clemson that we all long for is up 14-0 right now, easily. We don't look any different this year on either side of the ball, to the point that I'm wondering if DJ was actually the problem I thought he was.
I hope more than ANYTHING that I'm wrong. Go Tigers!!

Well after seeing DJ throwing dimes in his first game at Oregon State. I’m not so sure he was as bad as I and everyone else thought he was

DJ was rattled after trying to overcome WR issues. It got in his head and it would get in the head of any player. He was never that bad, but he was under tremendous pressure.

DJ was throwing to wide open receivers against San Jose, even then he was still throwing ducks. I'm not sold on Cade either though. This is why you recruit and sign multiple highly ranked QBs

At our opener last year we scored 41 points (OSU scored 42 yesterday) against Georgia Tech…but it wasn’t good enough. This year he scores 42 and he’s dropping dimes? Clemson’s fan base is confusing 🤔

If you watched the whole game that much was obvious. San Jose is one of the worst programs out there, btw.

TCU rushed three guys which put DJ under no pressure. He was back there with no one within five yards of him. I've never seen a pass rush that bad. With time and no pressure, he looked really good and so did their 2nd string QB.

Cade is only mildly better, if at all, than DJ.
I haven't seen anything in him that screamed that he was our savior. I think everyone projected that on him, just because they hoped he would be better. But he's just different.

Let's hope he's got the problem of calling timeouts he doesn't have in practice figured out. There were reasons he wasn't starting last season. I want him to be an excellent quarterback, but he had some problems last season and most fans didn't want to hear anything about his problems they wanted DJ gone.

Here’s a thought…maybe it’s not one or two people that control the fate of the entire program…maybe it’s the entire program that controls its own fate. Maybe there’s not one quick easy fix…just a thought…

I'm sure (I hope) it's first game nerves. The real annoying part is the playcalling. Why is Riley running the same unimaginative offense, I thought at least it would be downfield and fun to watch

Well...Duke is better than Middle Tennesee or UT Martin ...and will end up with 8ish wins against P5. Love to see the open up a little, use the play action as we have sold duke on how serious we are about running. Hit Jake over the middle a few times and go down the field...then let ship and Mafah wear them down.

If any of you younger guys are feeling hopeless, it could be a lot worse. This Clemson team is bad, but I remember when we were 3-8 in 1998. We're nowhere close to that.
