I don't have a subscription to "The Osceola", but this headline is a head scratcher. Wonder who they propose it should be blamed on.

I think a lesson should have been learned this year. The portal offers “temporary” fixes. Holes get filled with guys looking to fix their own situation more so than the program they latch onto (or that latches onto them). Those guys are not long term solutions, but rather, quick fixes that need to be permanently fixed via different options. JMO

Couldn't have said it better myself. Perhaps they can try to blame the current landscape, but I think this landscape is creating selfishness all around. Which leads to many players who were looking for that temporary fix as you said, to opt out from any other bowl game except a playoff game.

The practice squad didn't do a very good job running UGAs plays the same way they did and the cheerleaders didn't do a very good job leading motivational cheers during the game.
