“in retrospect we should have probably run the ball more”

Dec 31, 2022, 1:35 AM

You think?!?!

Same thing after the SC game!

Realized at halftime we’d given our best player 5 touches.

Kills me listening to this crap. You are a freaking OC at a power 5 school!

Yup. Pure ineptitude to not get the ball in our best players hands and only realizing it in hindsight and then STILL not learning from that mistake from previous games is baffling.

If you’ve ever heard Streeter talk, the inability to learn wouldn’t

seem so baffling.

In the off-season he will say how he self reflected and seen the things he could do better. Then he’ll turn around and do the same thing ?

Same excuse as the LSU game.

Same excuse as the Coots game.

It's almost like it's an intentional "not running" game plan the past 3 years in critical games.

Pathetic. If the staff is at that level them good luck getting to more complicated concepts such as, if you run tempo all the way down the field and then substitute a WR when you are in legit scoring position, your tired OL now gets a fresh set of DL and maybe a LB to go against totally negating the advantage that you've gained during g the drive.

What I find baffling is the messaging, for the whole season we have heard Cade is not ready. Then Cade gets the start and suddenly he is best player on the team? 54 passes and 20 rushes is not too many, it is WAY too many. With Shipley and Maffah, CK should never be the leader in carries (almost as many as them combined). On the passing side, 54 attempts is also far too many. Take 10 of those and hand them to Shipley or Maffah.

Clemson should not be learning opportunity for an OC.
It should be a proving ground, a showcasing of their talents, intellect, innovation, ingenuity, and execution.

Streeter is not good enough, seasoned enough or experienced enough to be Clemson's OC

Same for Grisham and WRs
Maybe same for Austin and the OLine
Mickey Conn too?

Will be interesting to see what Dabo says and does over next few months.
