The player would have to divulge that . Clemson also isn't going to give you a itemized statement showing where each of your NIL dollars went and to whom. So you probably will never know.
BUt at least you would have some skin in the game and may garner more sympathy.

The coot recruiting guy on Mickey's show this morning admitted that scar and BC are in a bidding war for an after-thought portal WR from Vanderbilt.
He then tried to walk it back when Mickey asked about making NIL deals before guys are on campus.
If guys like that are creating bidding wars then you can only imagine what's happening for the sought-after players.
Clemson may be willing to give NIL deals, but publicly Clemson isn't recruiting with dollar amounts attached.
I wish Clemson would get some guys from the portal, but if the legality is a line that Dabo won't cross it's hard for me to push him to cheat just because everybody else is doing it.

We've been doing this for years now.
In 2022, we offered Myles Oliver, Kobe McCloud, Kylon Griffin, Josh Sapp, Jaheim Lawson, Cole Turner, and Keith Adams Jr late in the cycle.
In 2023, we offered Tyler Brown, Tink Kelley, and Jarvis Green late in the cycle.
In 2024, we've offered Watson Young, Joe Wilkinson, Parker Fulghum, and CJ Kubah-Taylor late in the cycle so far.
It'll be interesting to see how many of them become impactful players for us. So far, Tyler has proven to be a great pickup. Cole was a starter before he got hurt and has flashed. Sapp and Griffin have shown that they can be reliable contributors/starters one day. McCloud, Lawson, and Adams Jr will likely be backups their entire career, but they add depth. I like Tink and believe he can be a factor for us. Oliver has been hurt for 2 years. Green has a lot of talent in front of him.
I wish we utilized the portal more. But I can't pretend like these late offers are bad either. Most of these offers are dudes that can play.

Because they are all subpar programs compared to Clemson, and have all landed elite talent out of the portal. Try to keep up.
The other list are examples of teams that are elite programs who are capable of getting players out of the portal every single year to contribute to championships. Try to keep up.

Such a whiner. Dabo has won 2 national championships. He’s made coaching changes when he’s had to. Let’s see how that plays out. Matt Luke can really fix the OL and help Cade have time. That should bring more points and consistency. Dabo shouldn’t change the culture he built that won those national championships to appease you people with no patience.
