if Neff can snag one like they've done with lacrosse, gymnastics, soccer and softball and be a fairly consistent Top 25 team, would you be more likely to go to the WBB games?

They really need to reach out to the family market - get parents bringing their little girls to the games, like you see at the other sports. Maybe some double-headers with softball & WBB or lacross & WBB, for example. Do something to get those little girls interested and excited.

We all know - it's not just about results on the field/court. Marketing plays a huge role these days. A coach who knows how to market the game as well as being an excellent coach of the game would be great.

the program needs a transfusion of something that's for sure. I hoped coach B would be it but alas it was not to be

I'm just not interested in WBB so my answer would be no. But I hope for the best for the new Coach and maybe others will be interested in going.

We are light years away from a consistent Top 25 team. The goal will be to be competitive and have a winning record and then take it one step at a time. We have been competitive in women's soccer for awhile and softball has taken off like a rocket but needs a couple more good years to claim they have made it.

As far as gymnastics, Coach Smith brought several girls with her from Utah State and we are leaning on them. Coach Smith is very well known and respected so hopefully she can recruit winners. I know nothing about lacrosse except that the ACC is probably the best conference in the country.

WBB is dominated by NIL $$$ and Clemson isn’t going to play that game. They will make more in college than WNBA, so you can buy your team like South Carolina, LSU have so if we hire a coach, they need to bring their luggage with them.

It’s womans basketball. Pay a couple thousand a year to a current Clemson employee who wants to make a little extra money and spend the money saved on upgrades to Memorial Stadium. Just do enough to stay compliant with Title 9
