They said during Brad’s BC pregame speech he told the team that “we are already in the NCAA tourney no matter if we won or lost against BC. So just go out and have fun.”
I don’t see any killer instinct there. I don’t see any motivating words to fire the team up. I only see a guy trying to do the least possible just to get by. Fire Brad.

Especially playing for an ACC Tournament Championship.
He said basically the same thing to the media after the loss. Told them to play free and relax.
That is an awful mindset!

“If” this is true and his words were basically the ACC tournament does not matter, then any “if” he should be let go/fired is gone. He would need to be sent packing.
What a gutless coach pre-game speech. “If” is important here but the way the team played they looked very disinterested in playing Wednesday night.
A late season collapse with this team, reflects on coaching directly.

Go watch this video of post game presser at 4:40 mark. He said he told team "to go play lose and free." He also said a couple of times they did not play with urgency.
If you are guaranteed a NCAAT bid, I would have said just focus on an ACC Tournament Championship since are in, not play lose and free. Just awful!
