Nebraska AD comments on bball program

"We are fully committed to providing the necessary resources to position our basketball program for success on the conference and national level. I expect to find a head coach who will elevate Nebraska basketball to new heights."

Liked to hear something like that from our AD, but people on here like to say we are just a football school. What's Nebraska. We all know Brownell will more than likely get another year because of that stupid contract extension he received last year.

Nebraska has good fans and their attendance is always really good.

But I think some of the comments by Miles during the season would change things next year.

Credit Nebraska for being proactive.

So, we ignore the fact that the Big 10 was an exceptionally tough conference this season, produced 8 tournament teams, was 7-1 in the first round, and sent 3 teams to the Sweet 16 in an effort to put forward a false narrative that the NIT is not harder to get into than it used to be?


I'm not happy Clemson was relegated to the NIT, especially not a Clemson team with so much preseason hype. The NIT is not harder to get into than the Big Dance, obviously. It's not much of a consolation prize. But, I mean, is it not objectively true that it is more difficult to get into now than it was in 2002?
