I don't think Cade is the guy. Is he our best option right now? certainly....

some guys have "it" and understand moments and some don't. I'm not saying he has to be DW or TL... but even average guys understand moments are bigger then others. He has consistently failed at understanding what those moments are.

Every single turnover with him seems to be massive. Every time he turns it over it's not just a turnover, its game changing....and some guys just have that 6th sense and know what "winning" looks like... or at least understands it.

Dabo has to stop being stubborn.... I love Dabo and never trade him for anybody, but let's be honest here... his 2 biggest issues is his stubbornness to admit he is wrong about this portal thing and when to bench a guy especially a QB that keeps making the same mistakes.

Moving forward the truth is the losing this season isn't over... Syracuse, Miami, UNC, Notre Dame and SC are ALL real possibilities of losses... it's not crazy to say we could be 7-5? even 6-6 at the end of the year and if don't believe that you're fooling yourself.

Okay, you’ve said your piece twice now. Please hush up and just go away now. We are tired of listening to your babble.

You’re an idiot. Cade played amazing yesterday. Really don’t understand why you would say bench that kid.

the end of the season, and next season, he's going to be terrific. Maybe not to the unicorn level of TL and DW but he's going to be good. Problem is, it isn't immediate so our delusional fan base, who think we're bammer, will scream and pout. This team is young but we're going to be good.

Wait 'til next year! (I couldn't resist the coot mantra)

You have to admit the things I said were true...

What? The kid finally hung in and didn’t get the happy feet all day. He doesn’t have the luxury of Tee, Justin or Amari. He has progressed.

Klubnik is more a Kenny Pickett-development-type, rather than a plug-and-play type like Deshaun Watson or Trevor Lawrence.

But he HAS to quit making stupid mistakes that kill drives. THAT is what separates him from DW and TL.

So if Clemson makes one more play and wins the game how do you feel about the rest of the season? You still think they can go 6-6? Because they didn't make the one play doesn't mean they will lose a bunch of games.
I'm disappointed with the loss but very excited about how they played. The freshman are going to be great. This team took a huge step forward and will go 10-2 . Huge momentum going into next year.

This game was our superbowl. Should have been the best we can play. We were at home. Massive crowd. Won’t be nearly as easy to get motivated for the rest of the games.

So extrapolating this game to the rest of the season may be a mistake. We shall see.

I will look you up after Syracuse beats our ###. You are delusional, and the sooner you accept we are a AVERAGE TEAM and AVERAGE PROGRAM now, the less heartache you will have. I EXPECT them to go 5-7, it's a realistic expectation. CLEMSONING IS BACK IN FULL FORCE NOW.

In comparison, Spencer Rattler got benched at OK, didnt do much all of last year with the poultry, but watching him, we could see that he had “it.” Not his arm, but the 6th sense. He just knows A) hand it off, B) hit an open guy C) keep it himself, or D) throw it away. Teams can work with ALL of those. Teams can deal with a wasted down. Teams can work with no score. NO team can work with giving it away. Literally anything, even taking a sack is better than turning it over. Cade plays like he is desperate-like he has to make something happen that isnt there-like he feels like no one else can score if he doesnt score “Right now-On this play.” Part of it is that his game experience came when he was “finally” brought in for the dreadful DJU, where we saw guys open and DJ throw it in the dirt or guys open and DJ throw a pick straight to a corner. Cade was put in when we were behind tasked with “making something happen.” I hope Reilly is focused on helping him unlearn that mess and reset and relax. It seems to be taking place, but like everything that “improves” under Dabo, it seems to be stuck in low gear. We dont seem to build parts of the system to work from other than “we found a RB, lets use it” type things. We keep trying the slo motion screens where we all see the defense swarming to the receiver who is planted. Maybe we can get better.
