His buyout is $7.5 million so take that as a down payment to exiting the ACC. Then go hire Jeff Scott for $3.o million a year, saving us around $8.0 to $9.0 million a year. Put that towards the exit fee.

We are up to $50 million give or take, which is 10% of the fee.

By joining the Big10, we make an extra $40 million a year in TV revenue so after just 5 years, we are halfway there on the payment.

Long-term a home run.

....AND, put Brad in the buyout so they have to take him too. Maybe coach Women's Basketball or as an analyst for Bama.

While you're making those payments, you're burning all of the extra income for 10 years - or until 2034 - without any guarantee that the TV revenue will remain at today's level over the time required to pay the debt. Might as well live with what we have, because the net result is the same.

B10 doesn't get on that 3rd rate channel. Most people don't even have it.

We go B10, we get on CBS and FOX. The only downfall is they love their noon football games...my guess is because of the cold. Not sure what they are going to do about a noon football game at Washington or Oregon where it will be 9 am their time.

If we need a fall guy we don't want to to be Jeff Scott.

Jeff = great #2 or #3 guy in an org. Not a great #1. He ain't got what it takes. EXTREMELY nice guy, lovely family, but not who you want when you're down at half during the natty.
