Bill o Brian navigate their personal lives with family, when every couple years you are in a new place. I’m sure the money is good but imagine constantly moving for your partners next coaching opportunity. I guess military families do this but I don’t think that’s by choice. Can’t be good for the kids.

My sister has 4 kids and they have lived in Qatar, NYC, Miami, England, Hong Kong and now back in England. (Some banking job, I don't ask questions)

The oldest kid is 13 now and it's obvious that they're starting to really struggle with the moves to your point.

It's not much different than a military family honestly

There are pros and cons to it

I was a military brat and had a lot of good experiences from it. The first move was the hardest by far, but the moves taught me how to adapt to changing situations. The bad part was I was relatively small until my freshman year of high school and not athletic so had to "overcome" that disadvantage with every move. Went to 3 different high schools, the first was average scholastically. The second was well above average so I had some catching up to do, and the third was below average so it was pretty easy.

I made the decision that once my boys were in Jr. High I'd stay put until they finished high school. It cost me a couple of opportunities, but I didn't regret the decision.
