Sales job took me to a sweatshop in Los Angeles by accident one time. At least that is what it appeared to be. Creepy as xxxx.

Beware of homeowners insurance companies spying your yard with satellite. They just sent me a letter saying that I couldn't have the stack of privacy fencing boards that I have stacked up on the far end of my back yard that is a good 50 yards from my house. If I don't have them moved by February that they would cancel my homeowner's policy...

My father-in-law has 3 or 4 piles of wood that need to be cut up then split for firewood. Which is how they heat their house. They told him that he had too much debris in his yard and had to move it or they would cancel his. And he has about a 2 acre lot and no wood is near the house. (Nationwide)

Temu doesn’t just use “sweatshops”, they use literal forced labor - slaves. You can be certain any team merchandise is unlicensed. The labor is free. Beyond raw materials - pure profit for the Chinese oligarchs and the Chinese government. Most of the brands don’t even pay for factories - they just use western built/financed factories that have been abandoned/seized or operate between shifts. Most fake NFL jerseys come from the same factories that make the real ones. And the Temu app is spying and storing data for the Chinese government just like Tik Tok. It should be outright banned in the U.S., and would be if politicians weren’t afraid of the blowback from banning popular apps.

You and me both!!! Personally, I've never purchased anything by the way of online shopping. If I can't feel or touch it before I buy, I'm not going to buy it. But my email is full of Temu ads every day. I list them as spam, I send them to the block sender thingy, and email is full of them the next day!!!

I have never purchased anything from Temu but do most of my shopping online. I find the ability to see user reviews and compare products to be far superior to choosing a product in a store based on the graphics on the box.
