Yes wish him well. Dealt with a lot of injuries in his time here but never quit. My memory of the hit he put on the Cuse QB will never fade!

Agreed. And he didn’t quit on the team. Nor playing in a bowl game is what it is. Skip the May get hurt narrative. And preparing for the draft. What better way to prepare for the draft than practicing and playing in a football game.

I just think it's a helluva fine example.***

20 years from now he will be one of the more successful football players to graduate from CU during his 6 years with the program. That will confirm the type person he is/will become.

I agree with you. And make no mistake, it is the power brokers- NCAA, conference leaders, school leaders, athletic directors, coaches, and boosters- who have made a mess of it. The players are simply taking advantage of what has now been given to them...transfer rules, opting out, NIL, etc. Which is not to say that there have not been cheaters amongst the athletes. Of course there have. But they are the ones that get the spotlight. The administrators hide in the weeds and get away with a lot of crap.

That's right. ESPN, for example, has done their fair share towards the debacle that is the current state of the sport.

XT. A great redemption story. Sick. Out of shape. Worked hard. Got back in shape. Performed. Pulling for XT to make NFL as special teamer / practice player to keep upgrading skill sets. A tweener.
