Gotta be an NIL get paid move I guess, because logic (to me) would see him going pro or coming back another year as a starter for a top defense. I suppose he could be predicting a big defensive drop off for next season.

If we can ever know why, we'll maybe see the bottom line of what NIL is doing and Clemson's place in it. Unless there is something relational/personal going on, there is no reason for this other than someone paying him. This has to stop. Even the NFL doesnt allow this.

Most of these kids won't come close to the NFL or an NFL paycheck. Let them get theirs while they can. Does it suck that he's leaving? Yes, of course it does.

In a list of possible reasons, have to include that, but cant imagine him not being a starter and getting most snaps. It was something else, imo. But who knows; the young guys are really good.
