How will our RB room look if we lost Mafah and Ship? Don’t shoot the messenger, but I’m hearing Ship is likely headed to the NFL. Really hope they’re wrong because I’d love to have him back.

I'd love to see Ship come back next year, but Phil is the number one guy, in my opinion. Our OC needs to figure out a way to keep them both on the field at the same time. Either one, is too talented to be sitting on the bench.

This is funny, but I was sitting next to a dad and his 11 or 12 year old son at the gator bowl. The son was very knowledgeable. He said Phil is 100% coming back and Ship is up in the air but the Consensus is he is gone. That’s coming from a kid, but for some reason I trust him lol. He said if both come back we will see a younger back go into the portal.

It’s all in good fun and spirit. He seemed thrilled about Phil coming back next year. He said Phil was his favorite Tiger this year. So hopefully his words come to fruition, not just for Clemson, but for him.

Yep I have heard from a source that Shipley is gone. Of course no one is 100% but I am almost certain we saw Ships last game in Clemson orange.

Love ship and hope he returns....however, Mafah is the man. Look at games where ship struggled and Mafah excelled. Ship needs space and a good OL....mafah doesn't. Phil is the better back. Better vision and power which compliments our weak Oline. Not a bash on shipley but ship needs space and a hole.

Ill also argue that mafah might have better in-game break away speed. Look at the long TDs and who has them
