LSU got away with murder in that game and during their season. Many guys, but especially #76 on their OL, committed blatant holdings on so many plays it wasn't funny. Scoring plays, too. Not just a few. They did it vs. other teams that year too. They wouldn't have beaten TX or Bama that year had the officials had a pulse, nor us.
LSU's 2019 title is about as authentic as Michigan's this year.

That was the year I graduated from Chapman High.
I’m not sure if the Tigers had appeared on tv before that game.

were amazing against excellent coverage by our talented corners. They just played better.
I like the guy and love watching him and DJ Reader before their injuries and Tee Higgins. Fun team to root for for this Clemson man.

Our team was hit with the flu that later became known as COVID. And LSU just kept beating our D on big downs in the second half so credit to them.
