Golf carts at Death Valley

Every year I read that golf carts are banned and not allowed unless you are a vendor or employee only to see numerous folks who aren’t employees or vendors driving them around. What gives?

The soccer mom's drive them to the grocery store etc.

“Get off my lawn!!!” They are fun to ride and convenient. Get off your high horses! As far as the rules…. it’s all about $$$ because they made me load mine back up at a baseball game a couple years ago.
