Although we took one on the chin last night, I was uber impressed by our bullpen and look forward to seeing us bounce back today!!! We’ve got this!!!

I’m glad we get to play again today. I logged onto TNet last night and was sure the season was over.

I have confidence that the plate approach taken by the Tigers today will be more aggressive than yesterday. Can’t get down in the count early by watching strikes to good pitching and we did that over and over last night. Duke threw what I think are their best 2 arms last night as well. Their reliever came on in the 7th and threw 50 or so pitches.

Looking forward to todays game and Go Tigers !

We made their pitching look better than it actually was, by taking strikes 1 & 2

right in the middle of the zone with the bat on our shoulder, and then swinging wildly at strike 3's that were actually low, outside BALLS. It was sadly ludicrous to watch.

Meanwhile, when OUR pitching struggles, it seems to mostly be very early in games. Maybe we need a sports hypnotist to convince our guys the first inning is really about the third or fourth, then we would be fine.

Out of total of 7 runs scored last night, 4 were HR. They did out hIt us 9-4. We faced some good pitching although sometime wasn’t sure what the man behind the plate was seeing. Had a better angle than I did I guess. Hope today goes better.
