I'm sure there are all kind of parental dealings that go on behind the scenes usually. An unfortunate choice by an alum and great player to do this but it is what it is. Coaching means making some people unhappy at times. Can't please them all

I don’t share your optimism. I believe this is all we’ll hear about for a while. I would assume every other school will bring this up in recruiting. ESPN would love to run some dirt on Dabo…

Audio recording of Lane kiffins comments to an Ole Miss player threatening to kick him off the team for expressing "mental health" issues has not hurt Kiffins recruiting whatsoever. Id say it has actually improved
Not saying I disagree with Kiffin but that is an actual recording and there is zero evidence pointing that Dabo actually did what is being alleged

Well, the difference is that Lane Kiffin is head coach at a sacred $EC school. Any time the media can pick apart Dabo, especially when he’s supposedly not acting “Christian-like”, they will do it.

Loved TK as a player and will always appreciate what he did for us when he played.
As a parent of 2 boys and 2 girls I know what it’s like to feel the need to defend our children.
However, if really posted by TK, it would be a very emotionally immature way to handle the situation and reek of Craig James syndrome.

Why would Dabo jump on a player that doesn't really contribute
to a big degree and not jump on someone that transferred that

It’s bad. The comments are all attacking Dabo, him “hiding behind the Bible”, creating a “toxic environment”, and pretty much claiming he’s a hypocrite. Over 145 comments so far. The fact that Kinard would share this and make it public is alarming. Like he’s gone scorched earth. And yes, it’s his real, legit FB account.

I have spoken with three different people who have been at practice the last few days, including two who are there with the scout team, and all three said the same thing - I have no idea what you're talking about.
That’s counter to the one side. Both sides will be clearly known soon. Until then it’s not a problem for people who’ve followed Dabo his entire career to think it doesn’t match what we’ve seen. It was termed a “toxic environment”… no way we even win 8 games this year if there was a toxic environment following a 4-4 start. We had 10 wins last year. Beat the coots and we were in the playoffs. All that with a mediocre at best QB. Again, toxic environments don’t do that in the face of adversity.
You have to go with what we know at this point. So far it’s not adding up.

Coaches get onto players for many reasons. One thing I'm sure of, Dabo will not throw this kid under the bus. He won't call the kid out and malign him or turn this into a way of words and "he said, he said."
