How bad is the conditions. I think I'm getting what you all had yesterday. Gusty winds and on off showers. It looks like Augusta winds. Surprised the scores aren't even higher.

Yes, generally speaking Lucas has a low ball flight that should help him. And we all know he's a seasoned veteran in all conditions.

Your bud bounced back with the feather on 16. After the horrible back 9 start. He should be safely in the cut. Kudos to Akshay.

The feathers on #10 has him inside the Top 10 again!!!

I’m proud of “Shay” . . . He needs to sit at my table and eat some sausage and cheese biscuits!!! Such a skinny rascal!!!

Keep Fighting Lucas . . . Crisp and Straight is most important!!!


*** Lucas finished Amen Corner (11-13) and was in jeopardy of 3 putting each hole . . . managed to get 2 pars and a bogey . . . his distant control with the broom isn’t very sharpe . . . hopefully, it’s the wind . . . hate he “layed up” on the Par 5, 13th . . . but he knows better than me!!!

He didn't hit a good 2nd on 11. Should have left it right and a better angle. But he still had a putt. Got really unlucky on 14. Beautiful tee ball and found the only pinestraw around. 3 inches shorter or left, has a clean shot. But he's blasting everything off the back of the green. Good chance at birdie on 15 and couldn't sink the putt. Really ashamed because he played wonderfully.

Lucas, how did he pull that putt left on 18. Hit one of the better shots on 18 all day. Just knew he'd knock the 9 footer in and finish with a feather.

But considering the other scores. Not bad at all. He got so unlucky on 14. Fantastic up and down on 17.

No wind, ideal conditions for moving day. Going to have to go low. Lucas needs a clean card 66 today. 👍
