It looks like Florida State let their alligator mouth overload their hummingbird a$$ with all of the leaving the ACC talk.

This is one time I’m glad Neff kept quiet. I guess it also means neither of us have a landing spot yet.

Bret, any news out of FSU?

It was never going to be this year. Don’t be too hard on FSU, there’s a lot of good cop/bad cop in play here. There is a sequence to everything

The bark out of FSU is more related to them trying to position themselves for more money from the ACC. I think we all agree the two schools are leaving the ACC and we also agree it wasn’t this year.

They don’t like the performance based payout bc for all the talk they never deliver on the field for the last 5 years at least. It was about trying to scare the ACC into paying them more based on “brand” and tv ratings which don’t exist. Always was about trying to max the money they can get until they leave without earning in on the field.

Actually, if you look at the numbers they have earned it on the field, even though with a lot of losses the past 5 - 7 years. I'm not sure whether Clemson draws more eyeballs than FSU, or vice versa. I see articles that say both. Either way it is very close and they are both way ahead of everyone else in the conference.
