If Oregon State didn't have one of their best players out for the ND game, ND may not have made the final vs us.

They needed penalties to beat western Michigan and Indiana to even get to the final four. They had an amazing year but they were not playing at their peak best at the end of the year and kind of scuffled to the final.
Reminds me of our 2019 team who peaked a bit too early and went out in penalties. Only difference was they were able to win their penalties

Also getting revenge on the Stanford nerds for the 2015 Natty.
Still salty about that Final since I thought that was one of Clemson's best men's soccer teams under Noonan. Glad we beat Stanford at home this year, albeit 8 years later. That was a sweet win for me.
I had a feeling we'd catch West Virginia flat-footed and underestimating us, given what their schedule looked like and our recent form. We just played better in our post-season tournaments.

Two takeaways from that list:
1. We are # 1 while SC is # 94. Ha ha ha
2. SEC doesn't have soccer. That is one reason I'd rather us be in the Big10/12/14 than SEC.
