from mid 3rd qtr thru end of game if I’m correct.
Plus, ETN was on his game if he could just get an opening made from line..he is from NO area..wanted to excel..had a slew of relatives & friends there to see him..and TL16 was off and pressing!

True, but when we were down by 17 in a flash in the second half, not much we could do in the run game

Not so fast my friend. ETN could pop a TD run from anywhere and score 6 in under 15 seconds. If not a TD, a 30 yard run doesn't use any more time than a 30 yard pass.

didn't singlehandedly will us to victory like he did vs OSU the week before...But we lost that game because our defense got blown the #### out...period

Correct. 25-28 vs. LSU with 10 minutes left in the 3rd and Elliot never gave ETN another touch. Cost us a 4th NATY.

Agree. Going in we knew we were up against one of the most prolific offenses in history. The D had some early success and we got up 17-7. But once LSU started finding their way we were in the shootout that anyone could have expected and prepared for. And Trevor was a little off, not bad but missing on some 3rd downs, etc. We got back to 28-25, but we stopped running the ball, which 1) had been successful and 2) could have kept the defense off the field some.
I don’t lay it on Trevor or the defense, but we knew LSU would start scoring, just like they did all year. And more ETN would have shortened the game and slowed them down.
