Edey manhandling Clingan right now

A lot of the ROAR hosts were talking about how they expected Clingan to be able to match up well with Edey. Well, thus far Edey has dominated Clingan on both sides up the ball and nobody on UConn has really been able to stop him at all. I agree that his attitude can be annoying, but I think Walt and Ben and some of these other people managed to convince themselves that Edey wasn't as good as he actually is and that Clingan was really going to outplay him. So far it's pretty much been the exact opposite of that. UConn has still maintained the lead though, so it might not matter. As long as they can keep it to Edey and not let the Purdue guards get going UConn will probably just be able to outscore them.

Edey is huffing and puffing and not a factor down the stretch. Doesn’t look great for the final half. He’s not used to playing someone almost his size and it shows. He sat for the first time this tournament. He also disappeared down the stretch. I see a Husky blowout coming.

I mean, he's scored 29 points. Yes, UConn has basically pulled away now, but it's not like Edey hasn't produced well. The issue is he hasn't gotten any help. UConn, meanwhile, has a lot more options that have been able to score consistently all night, as several people in this thread have already pointed out.

We’ll see but Perdue might be one trick pony, not great beyond Edy, while UConn looks like deeper fundamental basketball team.

UConn has more tools on their belt. Purdue has to get this back to a slower half court game or they won’t score enough.

He’s only scored one point in fourteen minutes. Maybe the lane violation makes it two. The Purdue train is off the tracks. It’s Hurley. We need to offer him like 17 mil to come to Clemson.
